The school gate was overflowing with students.
Some were rushing to complete homework.
Some were busy gossiping.
The canteen uncle was already frying samosas, making the entire corridor smell heavenly.
Teachers stood near the entrance reminding everyone,
"Tie seedhi karo!"
"Shirt andar karo!"
"Bhagga mat karo corridor mein!"
Everything looked like a normal Monday.
Except...
Today wasn't normal.
Manvi adjusted her backpack for what felt like the hundredth time. Standing near the school gate were the three girls she had known for almost a year...
Without ever meeting them.
Late-night study sessions had somehow turned into endless gossip.
Random memes became inside jokes.
Video calls became daily routine.
And now...
For the first time...
They were actually studying in the same school.
After seeing manvi all three came running to her , engulfing her in a hug that made all four stumble and gain weird looks from people passing . But did they care ? Hell no.
"Aaaagggggghhhh!!!! Mujhe laga hi nhi tha ki ham kabhi same school mai honge hi nhii!!!!" Manvi said excitedly.
"SAMEEEE!!!!" All other 3 screamed together in unison and started gossiping again . When Suddenly a voice came from behind and almost every girl swooned at the sight of the boy . Standing there , was a sight to be seen . The boy , his posture straight and muscles toned , was looking at janvi .
"Abee oyee , bauni badmosh? Tu apni bottle fir bhul gyi !! Ye le ! Aunty ne tereko Dene ko kaha hai " aarav said in a tone which was filled with sweetness and a tinge of annoyance as if this has been his job since forever.
Janvi walked over to him "abeeee mereko bauni mat bol , tu khamba hai , mai bauni nhiiii!!!" Saying so she tries to snatch her bottle from his hands , but he helds it up higher, smirking and teasing her .
Meanwhile, the other 3 watch them with a knowing smile . "Ahem ahem , tumhari rasleela ho gyi ho to......?" Suhani smirked.
And in sync , both , janvi and aarav, turned towards them and yelled " Chiiiiiii!!!!!! Rasleelaaa????? Iske sath ?????? EWWWW".
All three started laughing as they entered through the school gates , while janvi and aarav followed them with their chaotic banter still going on.

The third period , math, had just started , when janvi and suhani started eating janvi ' s mirchi ke parantha.
"Areee tum dono bhi thoda khalo na!!!! Itna goody shoes banne ki kya zarurat hai?????" Suhani said kicking their bench from underneath.
"Tum dono bhukkad khalo , mere ko daant nhi khani, aur isko dekh kar lagta hai yeh madam question solve karna rukegi?" Manvi said pointing to Tanisha, who was busy solving a complex equation.
Janvi and suhani both glanced at Tanisha, nodded their heads in negative and went back to gulping the parantha .
"Aa gyaaa ! Iska answer !!! 13 hai!!!" Tanisha exclaimed while raising her hand , but before she could answer......
"Mam the answer is 13!" A confident voice filled the room , driving everyone 's attention towards him.
"Very good beta!!! Ekdum sahiii!!" Mrs. Tiwari said . Meanwhile, Tanisha, who 's hand was still in air was astonished, she didn't even realize when she started staring at him or when she asked :" who Is he?....."
Janvi following her gaze replied:" oh woh?? Woh ishaan hai , class ka topper, aur aarav ka best friend . Woh pichle 6 saalo se top karta aa rha hai and most likely to be headboy hai . Upar se mast bhi dikhat hai-"
"Ab nhi " Tanisha interjected.
"Huh?"
" not anymore, his position is mine, from on ......." Tanisha said , her eyes still set on him . Suddenly ishaan , sensing Tanisha ' s Glare, looked at her making an eye contact, then almost as if he heard her , he passed a smile , but not a friendly type , it was more of smile that said 'I- would-like-to-see-you-trying' type.
Suddenly Tanisha heard someone call her name, faintly at first , then loud and clear "Tanisha!?"
"Y -yes mam?" She said , standing up.
"Yes mam ? What yes mam ? You raised your hand , now answer the question!" That 's when she realized that her hand was up all this time and mam was asking another question, before she could answer it , another person replied again .
"Mam the answer will be 48 " ishaan exclaimed.
"Good ishaan . Sit Tanisha and don't bother the class if you don't know the answer!".
Tanisha took her seat but not before passing ishaan another Glare which he seemed to have no clue of.

The canteen was filled with laughter, all students were chatting and eating with their friends.
"Oyeeeeee mai samosa lekar aayi !!!" Suhani said standing up from her bench " meri seat rok kar rakhna"
"Haa Haa jaa!" Manvi said while eating her poha .
Suhani walked to the counter and ordered " bhai ek samosa dena!!"
The bhaiya placed a samosa on the counter but before she could reach for it , a larger hand covered hers........
